Everything started in 2000s with experiences in the development and approval of suppliers of components, modules and peripherals to serve industries in the technology hub of the Porto Alegre region in Rio Grande do Sul state.

During this 13-year period, built a base of national and international manufacturers, including those from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, with technologies for automotive, industrial automation, commercial automation, self-service, electronics, energy, elevators, medical, refrigeration, and telecom applications.

From 2014, with high accumulated experiences, Widea expanded services to companies in other states, South and Southeast, accessing new customers, projects and market shares, while expanding the base of partner manufacturers.

Aiming for greater presence and support for clients in the Southeast region, in 2023 Widea opened an office in Campinas city, located near to the technology hubs of the industrialized region in Sao Paulo state and Unicamp university complex, a leading university in research and innovation that promotes the development of the region.
