Our partners, companies and professionals, can provide specialized services related to Widea's core business, as detailed below. However, we are not currently advertising them on the website. We will inform customers as we identify their specific needs.
11.6.1 Professional PCB Layout
Performed by experienced professionals who follow and incorporate the designer's requirements and specifications to achieve the desired performance and productivity, covering the following designs:
Rigid & Flex: rigid, flexible, or mixed boards; on rigid boards, components are mounted on a rigid base, usually fiberglass, while on flexible boards, components are mounted on a resistant, insulating film.
High Density Interconnection (HDI): refers to boards that have a large number of electrical connections in a very small area, making them very compact. They typically use fine-pitch integrated circuits where the distance between terminals is equal to or less than 0.65 mm. BGA can also be used, where the terminals are located below the package.
Stack-up Design: Multilayer boards that require impedance control, crosstalk control, and optimization of interlayer capacitance.
Signal Integrity Design: Boards that require good layout practices and the use of specific materials to avoid distortion and signal loss.
High Speed Design: Boards with high-speed/frequency communication buses.
Power Design: Boards used in power supplies that must withstand high voltages, currents, and power without generating excessive heat, noise, oscillations, and interference.
Thermal Design: Circuits with increasingly faster communication interfaces and increasingly compact components end up generating more heat, requiring boards to have better thermal dissipation performance, requiring more effective strategies and materials in board design.
Impedance Control Design: Impedance control is achieved by specifying and controlling the thickness and spacing of the tracks according to the type of PCB substrate material, required on boards with high-speed buses to ensure signal integrity.
DFM Design: Design aimed at improving the board assembly process, making it more productive.
